- “I could not be happier with the PIRC center! Not only do they have a quick turnaround for requests, they do an amazing, first rate job! I feel like I have a second me on hand. I think that the quality of my teaching has improved because of the extra projects I am able to do with my classes. Without the extra help from the PIRC volunteers I would not have time to make these projects. Thank you again and again!!” – Suzann Lemaire 6th grade
- "Now that we have the Parental Involvement Resource Center in place, it is hard to imagine the district moving forward without it. The role of the PIRC continues to expand every year. With the recent emphasis on parental involvement, the PIRC has been a godsend for Lander County schools." -L.C.S.D. Superintendent Jim Squibb
- “The PIRC volunteers have always been helpful and prompt. I can put my time to use planning better lessons instead of standing by a copy machine.” – Jennifer Kern 4th grade
- “The P.I.R.C is invaluable to our schools. Teachers are finding relief when it comes to getting big projects done and completed because they have a place to go for help. When a first day bulletin board didn't work for a teacher, she was able to run to the P.I.R.C. for emergency help and it got done in time! Our volunteers are awesome and we couldn't make it without them!” - B.M.E.S. Principal Lorrie Sparks
- TIME-everyone's most precious commodity-that's the valuable gift our parent volunteers give us when we need it.
The parent volunteers come to the rescue for 5th grade, especially with big projects. They recently helped us with our Passport to Genre Reading Program. The volunteers created several amazing, giant posters of each genre that were on display in our hallway. Every task that has been requested of them has been of tremendous quality and completed in quick fashion. We are so grateful for the time they put in to help us! –Elaine Domagala 5th grade - "The PIRC is a wonderful and underused resource for our district. Eventually, all of the teachers will become aware of the amazing things that go in there with Krissi and all of her parent volunteers. Projects, big or small, are completed lightning fast and better than I could ever do myself. They are creative and professional and once everyone figures out what they do, Krissi will need more volunteers, because they will be busier than ever. You all are very much appreciated!" - Sandy Ayers BMHS
- “The PIRC gives me an extra pair of hands to get ready for the day, which adds more time to help the kids. I really appreciate the PIRC volunteers, they're the kind of resource a teacher has always needed. I have never received a late or incomplete work order from them. Love the PIRC!” – Jim Pacheco BMJH
- “Love the PIRC room! Our volunteers have made our year so much easier. They have copied stuff for us and kept that time free for us to focus on our kids much more.” – Elsa Spence Kindergarten
- “The projects and copies that the center is offering, is AWESOME!!!! I love the extra help, and quick response and return time. This is a very valuable asset to help teachers in lesson preparation. I am finding I have more time in planning instruction to benefit my students!” -Cherise Averett 1st grade
- “I think the PIRC is a lifesaver! I have had them make my writing journals (50 at a time) and they also helped prepare crafts for our annual Christmas program. It is so nice to have some help with all the prep work required when teaching in the lower grades. I am very appreciative of the PIRC volunteers!” -Lisa Burkhart Kindergarten
- “The PIRC is amazing! If there was anything I needed for the nurse's office or bulletin board they were on it. Thanks for all that you do! Stacy Spencer
- "I appreciate the PIRC and all they do for educators- especially high school teachers! I have had limited resources for educational materials and they have transformed my ideas for classroom resources into a reality! They are a GREAT resource for helping me differentiate my learning by assisting with creation of materials. I love PIRC as a resource and those projects they have helped me with would have been thrown to the wayside because of time constraints on my end. I LOVE the help, creativity, and timely manner in which PIRC provides. PIRC was NEVER an option in other districts I have worked in and has been a lifesaver for me and my classes!" - Heather Nield BMHS
